Double Vision Decision 

Terms and Conditions April 2010 

 

• Half Price Eye Tests * - Are for those not otherwise entitled to a free NHS eye test. Thompson Opticians will discount the cost of your private standard eye test by £10.The only exceptions are contact lens checks and tests requiring a written report for work purposes, which will be charged at £20.00.

*Not applicable in Scotland, all sight tests in Scotland are FREE of charge

•  2 for 1 Offer - Applies to selected frames when purchased as complete prescription spectacles. To qualify for a complete pair of prescription spectacles the first frame purchased must have a tag price of £50 or more. The full retail price of the prescription pair must be of equal or lower value than the first pair. The second pair must be glazed to the same prescription as the first. One distance and one reading pair do not qualify as the same. In the case of a Bifocal or Varifocal however the second pair is allowed as distance or reading single vision if preferred.  The 2^nd Frame must be chosen from an equal value or less than the first frame up to a maximum of a tag price of £50. The second frame can be selected from above the £50 range but the difference in frame price will be charged. Metal  glazing charges apply to first pair of glasses only. Rimless frames cannot be supplied as a Free 2^nd Pair.
• Choose Sunglasses - The second pair / free pair may be supplied as prescription sunglasses for an extra charge of £5.These will be tinted with a non graduated tint and be TOL Standard Brown, Grey, or Green - C or D Grade only. The second pair must always be glazed to the same prescription as the first.
• Free Glasses with NHS Voucher - Offer applies to selected frames. A valid NHS voucher must be provided. Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or on any discounted lines.
• Complete Spectacles from only £20  - Offer applies to selected frames. Includes TOL Standard 1.5 CR39 Plastic Lenses of range Sph +/- 4.00 Cyl +/- 2.00 Max +3.00 add. Frames from any other range can be purchased at full price plus £20 for Single Vision, £50 for Bifocals or £70 for Varifocals.

Offer is only applicable when frame & lenses are purchased as complete prescription spectacles and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discounted lines.
